1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Pizzazz Serve collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when administrators, process servers, clients, and other authorized users use the Pizzazz Serve website, installed web app, and related services. Company customers may also control information placed in their private workspace and may have their own legal obligations to the people whose information they upload.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Pizzazz Serve, we may process the following categories of information:
- Account and company information: name, email address, phone number, company name, company address, role, process-server registration information, account status, connection codes, and profile information.
- Authentication and security information: password hashes, session information, passkey credentials, signing PIN verification data, login and security events, and fraud/abuse-prevention records.
- Job and case information: job numbers, client information, case numbers, parties, court/jurisdiction details, document descriptions, service addresses, deadlines, instructions, attempts, outcomes, notes, and audit history.
- Files and evidence: uploaded service documents, court forms, photos, generated packets, proofs of service, declarations, barcodes, e-signature records, and related metadata.
- Location information: GPS or other location evidence when a process server chooses or is required to capture it for a service attempt. Location may be unavailable when permission is denied or the device cannot provide it.
- Communications: in-app messages, support requests, feedback, notification preferences, email-delivery information, and related correspondence.
- Billing and subscription information: plan, subscription status, invoice information, payment-provider references, and transaction status. Payment-card details may be handled directly by the configured payment provider rather than stored by Pizzazz Serve.
- Technical information: browser/device information, IP-derived security signals, request logs, cookies or local-storage data needed for sign-in, security, app installation, notifications, and service operation.
- AI processing information: when an authorized user deliberately invokes an AI feature, selected documents or text may be sent to the configured AI provider to perform the requested analysis, extraction, or drafting assistance.
3. Sources of information
We receive information directly from users; from the companies, clients, and process servers that create or share assignments; from uploaded documents and service evidence; from device/browser functions such as camera, notifications, passkeys, and location when permitted; and from service providers that support hosting, email, mapping, payments, security, or AI features.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts; isolate company workspaces; create, route, assign, and track service jobs; generate service packets and proofs; support electronic signing; preserve audit history; deliver notifications and support; operate billing and trials; troubleshoot and improve the service; prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations; and protect users, Pizzazz Serve, and others.
We do not use uploaded legal documents, service evidence, or signatures to provide legal advice. AI-assisted processing is used only when the applicable feature is enabled and an authorized user requests it.
5. Disclosure and service providers
We may disclose information to service providers that perform services for Pizzazz Serve, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, mapping/geocoding, payment processing, push notifications, security, and AI processing. We may also disclose information when directed by an authorized company user, when needed to provide a requested service to connected clients or process servers, to comply with law or valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Pizzazz Serve does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, this policy and any required choices or notices will be updated before the change takes effect.
6. Sensitive information and legal documents
Service-of-process work can involve sensitive personal information, including precise locations, signatures, identity details, and information contained in legal filings. Users must upload only information they are authorized to handle and should avoid adding unnecessary sensitive information. Company administrators control access to their private workspace and are responsible for assigning access appropriately.
7. Retention
We retain account and workspace information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and audit history, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and protect legitimate business interests. Job, proof, signature, service-attempt, and audit records may need to be preserved after a job is completed or archived. Backups may retain information for a limited additional period before rotation or deletion. Where a company has a legally required retention period, that requirement may affect when records can be deleted.
8. Security
Pizzazz Serve uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, session protections, password hashing, audit records, private company data stores, and protected storage paths. No system can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their credentials and immediately report suspected unauthorized access.
9. Privacy choices and requests
Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information, and to receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law where that law applies.
To submit a privacy request, contact Contact Pizzazz. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Some records may be retained when required or permitted by law, including records needed to preserve the integrity of completed service, signed proofs, security events, billing records, or legal claims.
10. Children
Pizzazz Serve is a professional service platform intended for adults and is not directed to children. Account registration requires the registrant to confirm that they are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, law, or our practices change. The effective date and policy version appear at the top of this page. When a material change requires renewed consent, Pizzazz Serve may require users to review and accept the updated policy before continuing.
